Driftwood, a collaborative project with my friend, is a cybersecurity CTF scoring engine built for practice and competitions. Designed with a sleek, modern interface, it provides challenge sections with dynamic flag submission, instant validation, and real-time scoring. Each section unlocks progressively as users solve challenges, ensuring a guided competition flow. Behind the scenes, Driftwood uses SHA-256 salted hashes for secure flag verification, JSON-based challenge configuration for easy customization, and users' local storage for security. With responsive design, animated modals, and live results tracking, Driftwood delivers an engaging, competition-ready platform that makes cybersecurity practice interactive, secure, and fun.
